Modelling is a key aspect in the work completed by the MOSAIC team. Our researchers frequently incorporate the use of leading modelling software into their work such as COMSOL Multiphysics (R) and MATLAB (R) to tackle industrial problems.
Upon completion of accurate models, our researchers perform extensive simulations accounting for different materials and their properties as well as various experimental parameters. These simulations lead to thorough physical experimentation, observation and measurements.
The MOSAIC Team utilises leading optical and electron microscopes in it’s research activities. The team also has access to excellent physical analysis tools including Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), nanoindentation and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM).
